Eco Systems & Waste Management
Energy Circulation System: Transforming Wastewater into "Green Gold" and Slashing Fuel Costs by 40% - 60%
Project Overview
High-concentration organic wastewater generated from starch processing (such as Cassava(mandioca, yuca) "Manipueira") is no longer a troublesome environmental burden, but a valuable energy source. Our Anaerobic Biogas Energy System is specifically designed for starch factories. It utilizes high-efficiency anaerobic digestion technology to extract high-purity biogas (methane) from wastewater and reuses it directly for heating the starch flash drying system. This is a perfect "closed-loop" solution: Using the water from the raw material to dry the starch from the raw material.
Core Values & Advantages
Turning Waste into Treasure: For every ton of cassava(mandioca, yuca) or potato starch produced, the biogas generated from the treated wastewater typically possesses a calorific value capable of replacing 50% - 70% of the fuel required for the drying section (whether coal, natural gas, or wood).
Rapid Payback: With global energy price fluctuations, self-produced energy guarantees more stable operating costs and an extremely short Return on Investment (ROI) cycle.
High-Efficiency Gas Generation: Adopts improved UASB (Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket) or EGSB (Expanded Granular Sludge Bed) reactors. These are optimized for the high COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) characteristics of starch wastewater, resulting in high gas yield and stable operation.
System Integration: Equipped with professional desulfurization and dehydration purification systems to protect burners and heat exchangers from corrosion, thereby extending the lifespan of your drying equipment.
Discharge Compliance: While extracting energy, the system removes 85% - 90% of organic pollutants (COD/BOD) from the wastewater. This makes subsequent aerobic treatment significantly easier and ensures final discharge meets the strictest environmental regulations.
Green Channel for Export: Starch products manufactured using "Green Manufacturing" processes possess a significant advantage in carbon footprint certification, making them more attractive to high-end European and American markets.
The combustion system is equipped with a dual-fuel interface. It automatically prioritizes biogas usage when supply is sufficient and seamlessly supplements with backup fuel when biogas is low. This ensures a continuous, constant-temperature heat source for drying, with absolutely no impact on the final moisture control of the finished starch.
